Guacharo
The cave represents the largest cavern Venezuela has an area of \u200b\u200b15,500 hectares and 10.2 km long. It was the first declared monument in this country in 1947 and was made with the name of Alexander Von Humboldt German scientist who explored the cave in 1799 for scientific reasons and which in 1816 became known this great natural beauty. It was in 1975 when it expanded the protected area to preserve its ecosystem, which was declared a National Park thus ensuring the biological processes of the cave which is the most relevant of the 1,500 caves have been inventoried in the whole country .
